I've been offered another Masters and Partial Scholarship!

Update posted by Rayyan Haries

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all well and happy wherever you are.

Back in February 2019 I was told of an opportunity to apply for a Masters and Scholarship in Germany. I wasn't expecting to receive any offer, whatmore with a scholarship because I know the competition is really really high. Thus why I just kept it to myself until couple days ago an email popped in and it took me by surprise.

I have a great news to share!

I've been offered one out of the 20 spots available in the MSc. in Global Health Risk Management and Hygiene Policies at University of Bonn, Germany. On top of that, I have also been afforded the Dr. Hans Riegel - Stiftung Scholarship, administrated by the University Hospital of Bonn. The scholarship will cover the whole fees of 18 000 Euro. The scholarship does not cover living cost.

I am going to attend this Masters instead of the one in Liverpool as I don't have to worry about paying for the school fees. To cover my day to day expenses, I am planning to work while I undertake this Masters program to support myself.

But, as a non-EU resident I still have visa hurdle that I have to overcome. As part of the visa application requirement, I would have to showcase amount up to 8,700 Euro to showcase that I'm financially able to at least support myself for a year. This Masters program is a two-year program. This amount is usually required to be placed in a Blocked Account and can only be withdrawn monthly when I arrive in Germany.

Thus I still need your help to kickstart my Masters journey. If you believe in me and my journey, please consider contributing to the fundraiser. To those who already donated, thank you for your support.
