It was Friday 25th Jan, a little bunny in a random open field in the south of Johannesburg was mauled by a cat, luckily a person was around to distract cat, causing the cat to release bunny. Unfortunately the damage had been done. She has gaping holes on the chest and head, and her eyes were bleeding. She received medical treatment as soon as possible, and is now on an oxygen tank being stablised at Bryanstan Avian and exotic vet.

At the moment she is not eating by herself because she is still in severe pain and shock. There are signs that make us believe she is a mom. Unfortunately We don't know where her babies are, we had people looking around the area and they found nothing. We also believe this bunny was dumped because she was completely lost and she is used to human contact.
