Today I went to see the Suregon to discuss Samuel's further treatment. Samuel will go into Hospital on Monday Morning. They will remove skin from his bum and use it to graft onto the 2 areas of the foot where the skin did not take. It's a 45 - 60min procedure. He will then spend the night in hospital and if his pain is under control the next day then we will be able to leave. He will then spend 10 days in a boot and then the doc will inspect the foot and if happy we will do all the dressing changes at home going forward. Then after about 2 weeks he will reassess the foot and if happy Sammy will go into crutches for 3 months. After 3 months we will then start the process of letting Sammy walk again.
