Slim had been in to his vet on March 21st because he was still not eating well despite new medications. The vet prescriptions to help with pain and settle his stomach. However after a few days Slim lost his appetite completely and would no longer take his medications. When he was brought back to the vet just a week it was clear that something had happened to cause Slim to go downhill quickly. Based on his symptoms and condition, the vet suspected a blood clot. The decision was made to help Slim across the rainbow bridge so that he would no longer have to suffer. Saying good-bye is always the most difficult part of helping these pups, who we consider a part of the Bandit's BandAid family. <3 We love you sweet Slim.
