We received this update from the vet this afternoon. Since this was received the male adult dog was brought in with the same symptoms but not quite as severe. He has started the same treatment as Jaxx. We will update more on him tomorrow.

Jaxx update from Vet:

Patient has been offered I/D LF with no interest at 9 am, Mirtazapine 1/4 tablet of 15 mg

was given as appetite stimulant. Syringe fed 4 mls of ID LF at 10 am and 6 mls at 10"30

am, Patient had an episode of blooddy diarrhea at 11am, sarted Propectalin 1 ml by

mouth to treat diarrhea, Continuing Metronidazole injectable, unasyn and famotidine.

Patient vomited at 2 pm and was administered Ondansetron injectable dose at 2:13 pm

to help with the vomiting.

Patient had another episode of diarrhea, this time less bloddy and more brown in color

and intervals between episode is about 4 hours apart.

Patient has been urinating well 8am and 2 pm, Patient tolerated syringe feeding at 3:47

pm 6 mls of ID LF very wel.

Patient seems to have more energy at 4pm than earlier during the day.
