I wanted to share an update on BamBam yesterday but I suddenly got the flu and has been feeling really sick. I guess a whole week of stressing out and not getting proper rest has finally taken its toll on my body.

Anyways! I've been really stressed out since BamBam came back last Friday. One minute he seemed ok the next he was unresponsive. He was also peeing and dripping blood. Wasn't eating solid food either and seemed gloomy. My other cat who was close with him couldn't recognize him anymore and has been hostile towards him. He ran away on Saturday night for a while and I was freaking out so much.

Took him back to the vet yesterday because I've been worried sick. He received subcut, a new med, and had his infected swelling popped. It was really painful for him. He would have to come back for another subcut tomorrow. The vet also said he has been peeing and is not reblocked.

But I decided to put him in a cage to let him heal and for easier monitoring and I'm happy to say that since he got back yesterday he seems to be doing better! He's eating solid food again even though not much but it's a good start. He also has started cleaning himself, seems more cheerful, attentive and no longer peeing blood. The pee pad also shows he's been peeing. He also seems happier that his swelling is gone, no longer painful and healing ok.

I'm really happy with his progress. I still haven't raised enough money for his bill but I'm too sick to do that now and have requested for an extension from the vet. It's time for me to get knocked out from my meds like BamBam and finally get some rest.
