"You alone can do it, but you cannot do it alone."--O. Hobart Mowrer

I read that quote this morning while I had my morning coffee. With me restructuring Recovery Training, I reflected on just how true this statement is and how much it applies to me. The little boy in me wants to declare that I know what I want and I can get it all by myself, but the older, wiser man knows the fallacy of that thinking, When I was trying to build my own studio several years ago, I had several people that were helping pull it off. But when things started to falter, I stubbornly thought that I could handle to conflicts and had the willpower to make it happen all by myself. Despite my "heroic" efforts, it collapsed and I alone had to bear the painful consequences. However, I realized that if I was to restructure Recovery Training and be successful, I needed to have help from the SBA. My SCORE advisor and the SBA resources have helped me, define exactly what the business is and clearly identify all aspects of the business. I can step away and view it from the outside looking in and get an outsider's viewpoint. Despite training people for over 30 years, I needed their help to fine tune all aspects of the business, accentuate my strengths, and address my weaknesses. It is no longer about me becoming a success, but about the company and what it can do for rehabilitative, wellness, and fitness needs of seniors.

As I am about to launch Phase One of the business, I need your support to get things rollings. I would love to include you in my team. Please help me help the seniors with your donations. Thank you!
