Dear well-wishers,

The Uniting for Cyclone Gaja team has officially closed our fundraising drive wef 28 Dec 2018. We have received overwhelming support over the month and have hit well beyond our initial target. Combined with offline donations, the campaign has raised a total of SGD 3,300.

This has enabled us to extend our outreach beyond our initial plans of contributing to the relief efforts of the 3 villages. With the extra funds, we have now been able to also assist with the rebuilding the homes of 3 domestic helpers whose families had been displaced.

As illustrated in the following pictures, 225 blankets had been offered to families across these villages last month to protect them from the cold and 5kg of rice was offered per family for 125 families in these villages.

More updates are also on the way from other villages which have benefitted from this fundraising campaign. All new information updates received will be duly shared on this page.

The helpers who had spearheaded this fundraising initiative and their fellow villagers are extremely grateful for your support in this dire time of need. Thank you!
