Update posted by Victor Robert Farrell

Well, this is our 5th wee note of the twelve I hope to send afore Christmas. What gift can I give you today?

Well, regarding the Christian symbolism of The Twelve Days of Christmas : We have learned that"

1 True Love refers to God
2 Turtle Doves refers to the Old and New Testaments
3 French Hens refers to Faith, Hope and Charity, even the Theological Virtues, and now, that
4 Calling Birds refers to the Four Gospels and/or the Four Evangelists
5 Golden Rings = The first Five Books of the Old Testament, the "Pentateuch," which gives the history of man's fall from grace.

Well, why not.....though they could refer to the five rings of MERCEDES. But for today, we shall say the Pentateuch, the veritable foundation of all thing Biblical and all things Christian

If you want to understand the Bible well, then you must know the Pentateuch.

The catastrophic losses for humanity presented in these books, especially Genesis, make grim reading indeed. WHAT A FALL FROM GRACE. However, with Christ came grace and with grace proclaimed, came change and with that, the betterment of humanity and the rise of Western Civilization, a gift from God. Remove Christianity, and you remove grace, and with that Western Civilization collapses and ushers in another dark age. Welcome to your current world.

Here in 66Books, we are preparing to be lights in the coming darkness. Join us.

Oh, and Happy Christmas!

Robert.
