My mom underwent a successful heart procedure yesterday, December 22, 2018, to insert a small device called Pacemaker. During dialysis, there have been several instances where her heart stops for a couple of seconds thus, it is critical for her to have this the soonest. With this, we are hoping that we have lessened some serious symptoms that could cause disruptions on her ongoing treatments. She is now being monitored again for any complications that may arise from this procedure, if there's none, the next step is for her to undergo Tracheostomy since we have reached the 2-week limit of her ventilator.
