Our vehicle is now back on the road, it broke down on the way to checking out a tip off about a shooting estate dump.

We tried to fix it ourselves hoping it was part of the cooling system, but nothing we tried stopped it from overheating.


The garage quickly diagnosed that the head gasket had gone, this was quite a heavy financial blow to us as the car insurance was also due in mid February. We ran a fundraiser for a while and raised nearly £3,000, thank you to everyone who donated we wouldn’t have a vehicle without your generous support. 


The £3,000 raised online covered the initial cost of the vehicle and this years insurance , it didn’t cover the cost of the head gasket replacement.

Thankfully the Hunt Saboteurs stepped in and made a considerable donation to cover the garage costs.

We are incredibly grateful, the vehicle is 4x4 and will be used by hunt sabs when it’s not in use by us if it is needed.
