Yesterday we started working with a new group of Congolese refugees in Makindye. The group consists of 40 children that due the economic constraints of their family, do not get the chance to attend school. From now on they will be learning English and writing 5 times a week. Our volunteers will be visiting the group every Monday to make sure they get enough fun and play.

I also started working with a small group of women from the same area, and had the first bead jewelry lesson with them. The women made a beautiful, simple bead earrings which they will try to sell before the next leson.
