Project Hak '18 was a great success!

We continued construction of the Village Hall, which, when completed will give villagers a communal place to hold meetings, celebrations & interact!

We also continued our English Language upgrading efforts at Hin Heub District School. We covered topics like The Alphabet, Counting to 20, Occupations, Emotions & even Household Items!

Lastly, we visited Na Phong village, home to the ethnic minority, the Khmu. The first time, we distributed donated items like clothes & shoes to most of the households. The following week, we distributed toothbrushes & toothpaste & taught the villagers how to properly wash their hands & brush their teeth! All in an effort to help boost the health of the entire village!

We also shared our unique Singaporean culture with the villagers by cooking them dinner! We had: Biryani Rice, Chicken Rendang, Sambal Kang Kung, Begedil, Pappadom & Mua Chee. Yum!

Our team had so much fun making a difference to the lives of the community in Laos. We'll be back soon!
