Today marks Baby Joaquin's one week birthday. But just this morning, around 12:30 am, we got a call from the NICU doctor informing me that they need to have a platelet transfusion since Baby's platelet went down. They needed to ask for a verbal consent to proceed with the procedure. I visited Baby early morning today and saw that his tube's settings went up again. The doctor told me that Baby has a blood infection (sepsis) which causes the lowering of his platelet. They also have to change the antibiotic.

These kinds of news are the ones I am really afraid to hear, but I just prayed and asked for God's healing. During my visit, I tried to touch baby's feet for the first time and it was one of the best feelings i experienced. He woke up and looked at me. I cant help but cry ( mixed feelings of sadness and joy) when I saw him looking at me.

Im asking now for your prayers to Baby Joaquin's healing. These trials test my faith, but i know God is with me and my baby throughout this journey.
