$7,000 DONATED so far. Thank you!

Update posted by SCOTT WESSELS

A bunch of heavy lifting has taken place at Mom’s house over the past couple days evident by the massive pile of contents now in the front yard. Parents are living in a neighbor’s empty house just down the road and now have a bed, refrigerator and necessary essentials keeping them comfortable and safe.

The construction crew, volunteers, and family moved fast to clear out the house and removed sheetrock, insulation, tile, etc. And set up generators to power the numerous fans blowing throughout the house to dry it out asap.

TX Governor made a public Disaster Declaration for multiple Central TX counties on Tuesday making relief resources available from the State. National Guard and the Red Cross are now in the area assisting those in need. Llano County officials are in the community going door-to-door to assess the damage and document the names of residents severely impacted by the storm. The President has yet to make a public Disaster Declaration which will kick-in FEMA support, however that may come this week as the destruction dollar figures start to be reported.

It looks like we have 3 more days of rain ahead (Mon – Wed) before this particular storm moves on and we can get some much-needed sunshine and heat on the home.

Thank you to all of you that have offered your prayers, muscles, love and generous donations. We will continue to keep you updated as we go.

Best regards,

Scott Wessels
