LUCY'S SURGERY WAS SUCCESSFUL, BUT WE HAVE MORE SICK KITTENS!

Update posted by Julia Stewart

Lucy's emergency eye surgery changed her quality of life for better. No more infection, no more discomfort and no more pills, that she hated so much!

From the bottom of our hearts we thank our kind and generous supporters for the financial and moral support. Without you, dear friends, we could not have done this. Link to her post: BABY LUCY IS BACK HOME

Sadly, we had to deal with two more emergencies. Little Nessie, who was rescued by a kind kid, is unwell. We admitted her to the local clinic in Nesebar with high temperature of 41 °C. The vet took blood samples for complete blood count and Rapid FeLV/FIV test. Thankfully, her FeLV/FIV test result is negative. The blood count showed some kind of infection. The vet prescribed her antibiotic treatment for the next five days. She has good appetite, which is really nice and we hope that she will recover quickly. Link to her post: OUR SICK NESSIE

Last weekend we sent our darling Eti to her new home in Sofia. It was mean to be a forever home...Sadly, her adopter discovered that she is allergic to cats and we had to take the little one back. We placed Eti in Nova veterinary clinic for 5 days until a foster home is available. While there, she received her vaccine boost. The kitten is now in a foster home. These emergencies added another € 145 то our already stretched out finances We are in very difficult position, because we have to order cat food and other essentials on Monday (€ 500), but we have no funds to pay the bill.

We hope you will help. Thank you.
