Reading from previous posts, I have been mentioning that mom has been responding well to her sessions. This was made possible by the numerous heroes who have contributed to the campaign. But last week's sessions was different...

23 minutes left into her session, mom started to chill... a topic of concern for us as it never happened before. Initial diagnosis was it's either mom's fistula needs cleaning (yes, at an additional cost - PhP 7,000 for both tubes), her dialyser needs changing, or worse complication. Resolution recommended was for her take paracetamol before the session. And to make sure all options were tapped, her dialyser was also changed (normally after 8 sessions, she change on her 6th). So when she had her usual session last Saturday, thankfully everything went well. To avoid the same occurrence, her doctor prescribed additional medication and suggested to take vial to help her blood more fluid (approx an additional PhP 350). We will check if it is needed after her session on Wednesday, 12th October. Praying that everything goes smoothly.
