Dear friends,

This is a bit of a late update, but I wanted to let you know that I managed to complete the Amsterdam marathon on 21 October. My 'mundu' managed to win the battle against gravity, my calves just about won the battle against cramp, and I got over the finish line in mostly one piece :)

In some further exciting news, this little #MunduMarathon initiative was picked up by the local press in Kerala and a reporter contacted me via Twitter to ask some questions. In a couple of days, the story appeared both in the print and web editions of the Malayalam Manorama, one of Kerala's largest selling newspapers. [link to the English version is here.]

And finally, this Wednesday I will be visiting the Indian Embassy in The Hague to hand over a cheque to the Ambassador in person. It will then be forwarded to the Chief Minister's Disaster Relief Fund.

So, once again, thank you for your kind support of #RunningForKerala. Every little bit will make a big difference in the ongoing rebuilding effort.
