Need to get through!

Update posted by J Dom

I don't know where to start...I raised myself so I have never asked for help from anyone. I was told about this site last night. I think that it is amazing. I do a lot of things for people I don't know because I have always been the person people don't know. I also say that I was raised by the world. I am the first one to go to college in my family that I know of. I am on this because I am trying to finish my nursing degree. I have never started anything that I have not finished and I have applied for scholarships, but because I have a bachelors degree in management, I am rarely offered loans or assistance. My loans have prevented any further loans provided and no assistance is given to someone that already has a degree so I am stuck.

Four months ago I was in a bad car accident and had spent them on crutches. The loss of the car soon than led to the loss of my job. I take care of my severely disabled mother so I liked to be able to be close to home and leave when needed because there is often many emergencies. Last year she was struck by a hit and run in Ocean County and I was notified the next morning. I spent everyday of the next 8 months at work, school than to spend the night with her. I know how terrible care can be from being the on the family side and being on the healthcare side. The loss of a job, disabled from accident and having to care for a disabled dependent doesn't even begin to cover my situation, but I need to finish my nursing degree to do healthcare management. I am sure when I get my job I will make sure I am back on my feet as I have always done. I have sold whatever of value. I am in awe of what people have done for others. No matter where I am I am always serving others, it is the way that I am built. This is why I WILL make healthcare settings a better place because I have been on both sides of that story. As of recent years a lot of people agree that there is more hate in the world than love, but this site truly gives me hope and made my heart smile.
