Thank you.. Thank you for the love.

Update posted by Kristine Vallejo-Dahingo

It was just a month ago when our family was discussing our options to manage Papa's treatment. We took our chances on this campaign considering it could be a long shot. Then one by one, family and friends, including those we haven't had contact for a long time, started reaching out.

We are deeply overwhelmed by the outpouring love and concern we have received (and still receiving) for Papa not to mention the very generous financial support. Some even got out of their way to get assistance from different government offices. For all this, THANK YOU.

At the moment, we have collected enough to cover at least 3 (or maybe up to 4) chemotherapy sessions. Thankfully, PCSO also granted us some assistance for his second session on which they will handle majority of the fees.

As Papa's fight continues, we still ask all of you to extend your support thru prayers.

Papa was supposed to get his 2nd chemotherapy treatment last Monday, Sept 3 however his white blood cells are low. This is one of the side effects of his 1st chemotherapy but they cannot proceed with the 2nd unless his WBC increases to normal level. He was injected with 2 shots of White-C (Filgrastim) to correct this and we are hoping to have his 2nd chemo session within the week.

He also noticed that he is already started losing hair so he decided to cut them all off before his next session. ^__~
