60 days left, now the adrenaline starts to ramp up the veins!

Update posted by Felice Valente

60 days left to the dream.

31 days from the campaign kick off. And almost 2.000 Euros raised.

Wow. 2.000 Euros. It's a lot? It's not? it depends. 31 days ago there was nothing but a dream and a lovely thought of helping and supporting less fortunate lives. Today this thought generated a great sense of help and generosity.

There was nothing. Now there are books, toys, clothes, smiles, devices, working out stations. Probably not as many as we would wish, but enough to make a family having the proper medical (and entertaining) support for the lives of their beloved.

No, 2.000 Euro is not enough yet. We have to step up and seriously raise the stake. It's about a very serious cause and we all have to contribute.

Training is going as planned. The "specific" phase has started.

Sunday Sept 2nd I did my the first round of 30km+.

Result: Distance 30km - Time 2h.28' - Pace 4'.56" WOW!

The fastest 30 I have ever run (out of 25) so far! The first 30 has been always a fast race for me. It's the first time and I coming from a very good summer preparation. Hence my body is fit and my mind want to show me how strong and (apparently) ready they are.

There is still good time ahead to feel the tireness and the fatigue of the overall training. As my Coach Matteo uses to warn me everytime "Felice, don't go overboard! You are in a good shape but NY is still too far ahead..." and I know very well that he is right but how is it possible to cage a passion?

60 days: roughly 35/40 training session....New York I have you in my radar screen!

Here is the recap of my last sunday training! Enjoy the video!
