As of today Chuy and Juanita are still recovering from their injuries. Juanita’s coccyx is causing pain she doesn’t deserve, but she’s up and walking more, so there is slow improvement; Chuy’s swollen left hand has regained more mobility. Their broken arms remain in slings. It would be nice to see a quicker recovery, but serious injury requires more time for the body to return to normal. As always, Chuy’s attitude is quite positive. Juanita is the family stoic.

We have three more weeks of this campaign that ends September 15. As of today we’ve reached 48% of our goal, thanks to those who’ve already donated to this worthy cause. We hope to see more donations in the coming weeks. With a little more generosity our goal can be attained.
