Praise God guys! Johann's surgery earlier today was successful. The doctors discovered that the esophagus was attached to the lungs instead of the trachea. They were able to remove the connection and join the esophagus with the other part easily since they only have a small gap. Please continue praying for healing (that the wounds will heal properly and there'll be no leaks) and financial provision. The family will be staying in the hospital while Johann is recovering which the doctors estimated to be at least a month.
