Just last Thursday (July 5), Esophageal stent was inserted through her mouth. The main purpose was to cover the cut until it heals so to prevent leakage when the food (liquid) flow from esohagus to stomach.

Esophageal stent will be removed after 3-4 weeks just enough time for the wound/cut to heal.

Now, Chen can already intake water, milk (slowly) after 9 days of No water/food. Thank God!

She is still under observation, with some medications (antibiotics, albumin, etc) and vital signs is being monitored.
