It's been 1 month, 1 week and 2 days since I gave birth to Baby Pia and she is still at NICU. From birth weight of 920 grams she's now 1490 grams. No PDA (hole in the heart). From feeding of 1ml breastmilk to 21ml plus HMF. They weaned her from oxygen on her 1 month but unfortunately after 2 days she got a viral infection, reason why she is back with oxygen. They administer series of lab tests & Xray to rule out pneumonia. Tests came out normal. But just earlier, when her Neonat tried to lessen Oxygen to 1 LPM, Baby got difficulty in breathing, reason why they set it to 3LPM again. They will repeat series of tests to check where the infection came from.

Being a preemie Mom is so hard. Baby's been on & off to oxygen, her weight increase, then decreased, then increase so on & so fourth. I promised not to cry but I cannot help it. I promised not to think things that would stress me but I cannot help it.

Just yesterday I bled, then collapsed after visiting from NICU. Good thing my TransV & CBC came out normal. So many challenging things happened but when I prayed I realized that I have so many things to thank God for.

1. Thank you God that I can be with my baby at NICU wherein I can carry her. Thank you for her Neonat & nurses even Kuyas at NICU.

2. Thank you God for the small amount of breastmilk that I pumped, still Pia got a taste of it, mixed with donated breastmilk.

3. Thank you God that still we can afford to buy preemie milk for weight gain - Similac HMF, 4,300 good for 5days.

4. Thank you God that there are lots of people who are continuously praying for my Baby Pia & our family as well.

These are just few on my lists. Thank you so much God....

For Baby Pia's fundraising campaign under Paypal we already received 47, 288.00 pesos then 74, 382.00 pesos offline. That is a total of 121, 670.00 pesos.

Our hospital bill as on July 2, Monday is 927,099.00 less 90,000 (initial payment from the campaign), less 11,830 from Philhealth then less 75,000 from DSWD. That left us with 750, 269. PF not included. We are waiting for the assistance that will be coming from PCSO.
