1. How was the amount of $4700 calculated?

Rough breakdown of costs which can be seen under the gallery (screenshots) for complete transparency:

Return flights ( Approx $2k SGD before taxes)

Accommodation ( Approx $1k SGD before taxes and gst)

Race Entry : Approx $290 SGD

Miscellaneous ( Etc, transfers to race location/to from airport, meals, emergency just in case) : $1k

Site hosting : $350

Total : $4700 (rounded up)

2. Why was that particular hotel chosen, and not airbnb or cheaper options?

The location for Tahoe is unique because it is up in a mountain ski resort. There are limited accommodation options, in fact the official spartan partner hotel is already full on those dates. This is the next nearest option.

Having to stay in a cheaper option but far away would increase transport costs and waste time travelling to and fro.

3. How will funds be presented to Sham when campaign ends?

A cheque for the total amount raised will be presented by Sham.
