We are down to the final days. My anxiety is growing and my bags are partially packed. Last minute errands are being completed and time spent with those I have grown to love is quickly diminishing. Hope's flight will only be 100% confirmed the week before we leave, so it is very possible she arrives a whole 2 days before me in Philadelphia.

The outcome of the visa situation seems hopeful, considering stories from others I have recently heard. All fingers and toes are crossed that I can hurry up and get back home to South Africa with Hope. She will not be a happy kitty to live indoors in the city. The bush is her home!
