Hello Friends and Family,

We are so excited to see and feel all of the support from you on this Fundraising project! It is truly heartwarming knowing that you are all a part of our community and are there for us. We look forward to sharing our completed houseboat with you in person or virtually.

As we finish up the last couple of weeks of construction, everyday brings a new perspective to the finished houseboat! The sheetrock is now up and will be 'floated' (mudded/sanded) next week, along with the first couple layers of paint.

The IKEA cabinets we spend all weekend deciding on will be delivered and installed later next week too. And the bamboo flooring will arrive and get installed the following week. Then, its just painting, window trim, and other little details, (and bigger details like the bathroom).

Hopefully, everything will be all done by the third week of October and we'll get Earleen moved in by Halloween!

We got great news from the Harbor, that they are going to buy her old boat for a current member, so we don't have to deal with selling it or moving it! It couldn't be any better than that.

We'll reach out to everyone to celebrate our completion with a big PARTY on the HOUSEBOAT and hope to thank you in person. We'll also be reaching out to those of you who selected a thank you gift. We are looking forward to sending out your reward gifts soon!
