UPDATE on Gray.

He's still lethargic and his stomach got a little more bloated due to his Feline Infectious Anemia (FIA). He didn't recognize us when we visited him which was sad. They said he hasn't meowed or sounded. He sleeps in between his meals resulting in the food getting all over his face. He has taken his vitamins and medicines at the right time. The vet said atleast he's eating and drinking. He's really trying hard to compose himself when he eats since he gets outbalanced most of the time.

Hopefully tomorrow we can have his liver checked if it's still functioning well.

I'll upload other photos and videos from today's visit.

We hope Gray gets well soon. 🐈

VET texted that Gray has low liver enzymes ALT & AST. He said that Gray may have liver problems.

VET has not responded yet. We'll update again later.

MARCH 9, 2018

Called the clinic, Doctor said his appetite gas regressed unlike yesterday. His urine and stool are okay. Normal. His liver needs further testing. Vet suggested an Ultrasound to determine the extent of Liver damage.

Vet said he'll update us after.

We're praying that it's not yet worse.

MARCH 10, 2018

We visited Gray at the hospital and the vet said he's not responding well to the treatment. His temperature is dropping and they have placed him under 2 bililights to keep him warm. He's always sleeping and does not respond when we touch him. His breathing has started to slow down and he's not eating as much. He looks more bloated since his liver has started to swell more. We're all really sad.

The vet said we can take him home already. Continue the supportive treatment at home and hope that Gray's liver would regenerate.

Tomorrow we'll be taking him home.

MARCH 11, 2018

Gray is back home. We took him from the hospital, bought him a new cage, set up a warm light with warm sheets and made sure he took all his medicines and vitamins on time but we had a bit of a hard time making him drink since he doesn't open his mouth wide. We use syringes in administering his medications and vitamins. We hope he recovers soon.
