Thank You

Dear friends,

I would like to thank you once again for your support towards my travel to the UK. I will say it was a very successful trip. I learnt a lot and made a number of contacts at the CA Conference. It was also very enlightening to hear others talk about what is happening with Classics around the world, especially in secondary schools and among adult learners. Of course, my presentation also brought to fore new ways in which Classical languages are being put to use in Ghana.

My trip ended with a visit to Cambridge, where I met Dr Caroline Vout (Graduate Secretary) and Alessio Santoro (PhD Candidate) at the Faculty of Classics to discuss possibility of taking up visiting studentship. The feedback I got was positive and I will now start working on getting funding to spend about three (3) months in Cambridge next year.

Since I was in Cambridge, I took the opportunity to see the Museum of Classical Archaeology, the Fitzwilliam Museum and the Parker's Piece (pictures are in the gallery).

I thank you all for making this trip worthwhile.

Best,

Michael
