It has been almost four months since I started fundraising and honestly it has been such a drag. When I was employed, I was very stressed and hardly had time and/or energy for anything, much less to push the fundraising. Now that I am no longer employed, it has been easier as I am not stressed. However, it is demotivating looking on the target I need to get to, and how far away I am from the target.

With all that said, I applied to the Student Loan Bureau and two scholarships. I actually do not qualify for quite a few scholarship because I am not a first time entrant at University, I am over 25 and I have not actually started the programme. Encouraged by a friend of mine, I have also started putting on bake sales every month end to help supplement what I receive as donations here as well as ramping up my card making business which have been going pretty well.

All in all, it's been a rough road to travel, but I am determined to see this through to the end. For those who have believed in me, prayed/ been praying for me, buying my sweet treats, buying my cards, donated via paypal or in person or spoken words of encouragement - a big THANK YOU! I really appreciate it.

I will try to have regular updates and stay tuned as I start my official Med School countdown on June 1st.
