Hello, everyone. My name is Lala, I am 19 years old and I've lived in Santa Rosa my entire life. As many of you know, on Sunday (10/8) a fire broke out in Calistoga area- actually starting about 9 miles from our home as we understand. It is now being called one of the worst firestorms Northern California has ever seen. My boyfriend, Domenic (23) and I rented out a room from his grandmother off Riebli Road (Mark West Springs/Larkfield area). We were able to evacuate our house and save all of the people and animals inside (minus one cat, RIP Gracie) as well as warn some neighbors. Unfortunately we had about 15 minutes tops before we were forced to leave as trees started to fall and transistors blew and the power went out. Our house and everything in it burned to ground within the hour.

If you can donate anything to us, it would help us greatly. As it stands, many people in Sonoma County have been displaced from their homes and housing is harder than ever before to come by. We don't really have much money between the two of us and we lost almost all of our clothing, our bed/matress, computer and monitor, literally everything save some clothes and my guitar and laptop.
