After help from Barry Lewis and my tutor, I finally finished my Headdress for the Green City Events Ocean Plastics Campaign. I used many different materials including the corners of a sandcastle for the spires. My main colour palette was gold and green as they mimicked the colours of the mermaid tales an associate was making. I added a little splash of purple as I thought this would give it some character.

Overall I am incredibly happy with the design. I think it is really complementary of the 'mermaid' cliche, and the grande design makes it seem it is for someone who is royal.
