Good news! and Good news! There will be an article written about the project in the Northwest Indiana Times. So I've extended the deadline in case anyone reading the article would like to donate. We've done well with our donations. The bank has received a $1,000. The Parks Department approved the project and Guy Carlson from Demotte State Bank is issuing a check for $6,000 towards construction. I'm told that carved stones are very popular and will be investigating the possibility of having the poetry on stones. Thank you to all who have donated!
