BGPCA CRISIS CENTER INFO

Update posted by chenoa eratt

please let me introduce myself, my name is chen, and we are the BGPCA https://www.facebook.com/groups/1856931684519537/ Bulgarian for the protection against cruelty to animals, presently applying for charity status in bulgaria, (Working in conjunction with the wonderful http://www.theneuternetwork.org/The neuter network of Bulgaria) are hoping one day to open a flagship animal shelter, for neurtering, training, re-homing, therapy and healthcare of animals within Bulgaria and education and assistance to the Bulgarian people, many of whom are far too poor to be able to put the needs of thier pets above their own, many animals have to fend for themselves on the streets, and more often than not die young of injury or starvation or other such worse reasons, but i can assure you very few die of old age and in comfort.

There are lots of cruelty cases withing Bulgaria, which we are hopeing to change through the education of its people, but there is a very serious problem with the police not either wanting, or able to make convictions in these cases, as its not really seen as a crime, we are hoping to get the information needed to people to be able to fight against a currupt system that has no care for these animals as they are often seen as vermin, even though it was the human race that made the problem in the first place, there are lots of privately funded small animal shelters in Bulgaria, which work hard with next to nothing.

We are hoping the network can continue to work with as many small shelters to make a network across the whole country, well to put it simply theres a lot of work to do, and next to no funding to do it,

we have a site available to us to buy that fits the legal requirements in bulgaria, for the starting of a rescue center, the costs involved with setting this up is below, in euros, this will be started in sections as funds come in and updates will be added as we go so you can join us every step of the way and see what changes your money is bringing to this much in need area, thay are listed in order of need.
