Dear Friends,

A little message of thanks to all of you who have been so kind to support my return to Athens.

I am now back in Germany, but have fond memories of the time that I was able to offer my support to those in need. Although there were many changes from my original plans ("impermanence", some might say), and also some personal struggles along the way, I found my place working at the Eleonas Camp, offering German lessons to a small group of really dedicated students, and also helping with maintenance in the camp where possible.

Slowly, we were also able to round off some of the aims from our original project (including our support to Love and Serve without Boundaries and our Cushion Project) and we are beginning to see the potential continuations of these projects. Leonie is currently looking into the possibility of employing a number of refugees to help make meditation cushions, which could be sold in other parts of Europe, thus providing a potential income for some in Athens.

As I sit here, my heart is filled with gratitude for the support that I received and also the warmth and love that I was offered by all in Athens.
