Brandon was told today that his Cancer is Ewing's Sarcoma. It is a rare type of cancer that affects mostly children and teenagers and is found in the bones or soft tissue. Kaiser's treatment protocol is estimated to take 8 months. The plan consists of 6 rounds of chemotherapy each spaced 2 weeks apart, followed by more rounds of radiation, then 6 more rounds of chemotherapy. The family has been in contact with a few well respected Oncologists who are experts in Sarcoma and they were referred to an Oncologist who specializes in Ewing's Sarcoma. They want to make sure that Brandon gets the best and most effective treatments. Please continue to pray for them as they make some tough decisions in the near future in regards to his treatments!
