I’m sorry to start off with a bad news in the morning of the 1st day of the year.

Mozart’s surgery was a successful one. It was a 5 hour long surgery, but the “skin grafting” or “flap” did not work for him. It broke off during christmas. However, the wound looks small. The flap gave the wound borrowed some time for it to heal. Knowing it’s the last straw for him, Dr Kris Koh is also sadden about the state he’s in. But we could only pray very hard that the wound would heal by its own.

And because he has been through a lot, he have quite a bit of weight that it became quite critical for him to gain weight. Because he might not survive going below 1kg. The vets also tried to drop an antibiotic to help him gain weight but he got a fever instead. They have got no choice but to put him back on the antibiotics. They are currently feeding him every 4 hourly. His appetite has also picked up and he can finished an entire bowl of vegetables now!

As you all know, Mozart has been hospitalised since 20th Nov 2017. Everyday’s hospitalisation cost about ~$200+ to sum it up per week of stay cost about ~$1000. Till date his medical bill is at ~$10,000. Its not cheap but I am also doing my best to pay off bit by bit whenever I can. I also had thought of putting him down once because watching him trying his best hurts alot. But his defied so many odds, and I choose to respect him and let him put up his fight. But in order for me to do so, I would need a favour from all who’s following this post and share around this campaign once again.
