After a year-long battle with cancer, Mama is finally FREE! FREE FROM PAIN! FREE FROM SUFFERING! At 10:45 PM of Christmas Day, she has been FREED from CANCER and went to be with the our Lord Jesus Christ.

Even in her last moments, she never gave up, she refused to give in. One of the many things that we will never forget is her unwavering determination to fight. Whenever we ask her if she can still endure, she will always say, "KAYA KO BASTA NANDIYAN KAYO" (I CAN, AS LONG AS YOU ALL ARE WITH ME) . "Paano mo sasabihin sa tao na sumuko na, kung sya mismo hinding hindi susuko". Mama fought 10 chemo sessions and could've fought more. Her SPIRIT was STRONG, but the body, unfortunately, is weak, as the bible says.

Mama has and always has been a consistent mother. On all chapter of her children's lives (childhood to present), she never failed to be a carer and a nurturer. "Kahit na matanda na kame, inaasikaso pa rin kame". Even in illness, she always puts others first before herself. "Sya ung nag-aalaga, sya pala yung maysakit". Mama has always been gracious with friends and family, sharing whatever she has, whether it be food, money or whatever kind of support is required.

"Sa lahat ng kabutihan na ginawa mo para samin, eto ung pinakamalaking atraso mo. Iniwan mo kame ng Pasko. Pero kahit ganon man, salamat sa Diyos dahil sa buhay mo. Ikaw ang tunay na kahulugan ng salitang 'mama'."

No words can describe how much you mean to us, Mama. Mamimiss ka namin nang sobra. Enjoy ka jan sa Heaven. Magkikita ulit tayo.
