Today, 1st Nov 2017, marked our one month journey with our little fighter Akira.

Our little fighter is really a great survival! She has grown so much since her dramatic weight lost during the first few days period of life (which is normal even for a journal term baby). Her birth weight was 1020g and she dropped till 769g (lowest) on day 4/5.

Ever since then, she has gradually, albeit slow, increasing and gaining weight with only exclusively breast milk feeding (via tube because she still can't suck). She finally break the 1000g record last Friday, and today she is 1088g.

Trial of weaning CPAP started this week. However, she can only tolerate normal breathing for awhile.

Although it's still a long way to go in order to achieve 2500g, totally wean off CPAP and NICU, we know she will definitely make it!
