Huey had to be taken back to the vet yesterday. His wound that was stitched closed opened up. His wound ended up being infected because his antibiotic wasn't keeping up.

Huey was dehydrated and losing weight as well. He has lost 1lb in 5 days.

The vet did his surgery this afternoon and ended up having to do a skin graft because his skin around the wound was dead. He said it's also possible that the graft may not hold because the skin that was available for the graft was all bruised from the accident. So down the road it may have to be done again.

The vet also said that Huey may need more skin grafts in other locations because his skin looks like it's dying in those other spots.

Huey is now on a new antibiotic, two pain meds, medication for anxiety, and a wound spray.

Now it's just a waiting game
