There has been some progress since the end of the fundraiser. I ordered 29 meters of fabric, with 9 different patterns, to a total cost of 215 Euros. Here are the different patterns:

I also started sewing and chose the the polar bear and penguin patterns since they best fit the winter time. I created 2 sets of size L:

and 2 sets of size M:

Since I still had another 10 sets left from sewing in summer and autumn, I packed them all in a cute box:

and brought them to the main hospital in Vienna, AKH Wien. The nurse was pretty happy about them, and said that the sets were very cute and very much needed:
