Zion's Operation

Update posted by Bea de la Cruz

Our baby Zion was diagnosed with Congenital Cystic Adenomatoid Malformation at 24 weeks of gestation. We already knew he needed operation after birth. He was delivered safely last October 24, 2017 via c-section at just 36 weeks + 4 days because I had only 3.5cm amniotic fluid left. Plus double cord coil meaning the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck twice. He came out crying. But his lungs stopped functioning well as soon as the umbilical cord was cut. He was immediately put in an incubator and brought to the Neonatal ICU. Up to now, he needs oxygen pumped into his lungs in order to breathe. He needs to undergo operation to take out the pulmonary mass. The problem is that they can't push through with the CT scan (needed to map out the entire mass) as long as his breathing doesn't stabilize.

He's still in the NICU and we can only see him through visits. We can't even take pictures of him while he's there. :'( We need your prayers!!!

In his 4-day stay, so far his running bill has already amounted to Php303,509 excluding professional fees. If you would like to extend some help, you may through:
