This has been a roller coaster!

Kisa had another bout of vomiting and was taken to the vet Thursday morning, where they admitted her for the day to give IV fluids. X-Rays showed a possible blockage and her phosphorus was low which could have been due to delayed refeeding syndrome.

We got to take her home for the night with a specific feeding schedule and a follow up at 8am. They kept her all day again today; gave her more fluids, did more bloodwork and a barium X-Ray. The vet currently thinks she has gastroenteritis. Her bloodwork was normal today and the barium X-Ray showed no blockages.

Kisa is back home with some medication and hopefully will not need to go back to the vet until her 6 month follow up.

The total charge for the last two days was $1,003.
