My dad is currently still in the coronary care unit (CCU) for close monitoring while he is recovering. He went through a successful coronary artery bypass operation last August 11, a day after his birthday. It was a very long and enduring 7 hours while we waited for an update from the operating room. Thank you Lord for Your healing hands.

Yesterday, he has just started to sit down assisted. He has also been allowed to eat soft types of food, but in limited amounts, as well as limited liquid intake. His heart rate is not that stable yet, and is still under medicine drip. He developed minimal phlegm and fever last 2 days ago, he has medicine for it also. And last night, his left foot became slightly swollen, probably from the constant lying on the bed plus the bandages on his 2 legs. They already managed it and hopefully the swelling subsides by today.

I would like to humbly ask for your continued support and prayers for my dad that he will be more stable now and recover sooner. Once his vital stats will be more fully stable, he will then be allowed to go back to his room and start the rehabilitation process which will be about 2 months. They will start him off slowly first while he is still in the hospital.

Thank you again for all your unconditional support and prayers for my dad, and for the gift of his new and better heart. The healing journey will be a bit long, but we're taking things one day at a time, and your continued support would mean the whole world for my dad.
