Before my mom was diagnosed with cancer, I was already into football, with Kickstart. Kickstart is an organization who trains beginners to eventually love the sport and organize tournaments.

Then it happened...it was a stage 4 lung cancer. As my world started to crumble, this team helped me pick it up. Very quickly, a tournament was organized for cancer patients, especially my Mom is the main beneficiary.

Mixed chill division happened last August 19. It was a stormy day, but no amount of downpour an dampen our spirits. The love and support of my family and friends overwhelmed me and my Mom. And this has given my Mom a renewed spirit and the will to fight. Check out our ABS-CBN coverage!
