Mamma Afrika community center is a registered charity grass-root initiative striving to empower African mothers of limited education and means to develop and realize their individual potentials as earners, carers, decision makers, educators and community builders.

To achieve this MAMI aims to provide mothers with access to knowledge and skills training as well as the basic resources to help themselves improve their lives and that of their families and communities.

MAMI recognizes the central role of mothers for the well being of the present and the next generations.

Through its practical work MAMI aims to contribute to a long-term cultural development towards greater gender equality and respect for human rights.

A more specific agenda , is geared towards supporting the young mothers from ages (13 to 30) whom we refer to as the forgotten bracket,evertone points a finger without necessarily wanting to understand the circumstances,
