Butter took her bile acid test today and the results is scheduled to be released within 2 weeks.

We'll be taking a different approach in treating Butter. She will not be having any surgery due to the lack of immediate funds as well as the risks involved, be it during surgery or after surgery care. The same condition may occur again for as long as Butter's liver health is compromised. Instead, I have found a health researcher who is known to help dogs with similar issues through diet changes and addition of human supplements. These will improve Butter's overall health including her liver, and hence preventing her condition from worsening (or even get rid of it entirely!)

Butter has already started on the new diet, and supplements are on its way!

The donated money will be used on the tests Butter has to go through to monitor her liver functions as well as to purchase the supplements.
