June 29, 2017 - 1st Chemo Session

Marie Antoinette's first session of chemo went well. I mean really well. No nausea and vomiting episodes. She went straight to sleep when we got home. Got a little grumpy when we woke her up for dinner and went straight to sleep and I mean deep sleep.

Indeed, we made the right decision to prepare her and her body for the chemo session. We scheduled her 1st chemo session two weeks after she was diagnosed.

During that time we made sure to give her everything that she needs. Fruits and vegetables, vitamins, milk and all. It did help. It made her body strong. Able to overcome the side effects of cyclophosphamide drug.

We are very thankful to all of you. To our friends who extend help and donate, thank you very much.

We also would like to say thank you to Marcela Agoncillo Elementary School, parents and teachers. Thank you so much for all your help.

Marie is a very strong girl. She will get through this. 12 sessions to go, but I hope and pray 2-3 sessions will be enough.

We will keep you posted. Her 2nd chemo session will be on July 27th.
