So. Ugh.

We're checking out of the hotel today, several days later than we planned on thanks to all the complications I had (part of my face is still numb and that numbness is spreading ), meaning just this week of hotel costs is a little over $800.

Luckily the hospital agreed to bill me for that $1,500 deductible, but just the hotel and food costs have emptied my bank account completely.

And now, as we're about to head home, we find out that the air conditioning at home is broken and won't be fixed until Monday, if then (a couple months ago when it broke the apartment complex left us without ac for over a week). My choice now is to recover from brain surgery in a non air conditioned apartment in the hottest month of summer, or stay in a hotel in Greenville that I can't afford to pay for.

I can't catch a break.
